Isaiah Chapter 40: Verses 28 - 31
28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Daddy's back from his army ICT in Nee Soon Camp....

Although I asked him to take some pictures to show me, he said he was not allowed to..... something about the camp prohibiting camera phones and related devices...

So sad

Hide and seek .......... well, hide and hide somemore

Hey, this is my latest hobby... well, latest as at mid June 2008 I guess... can you guess what it is?
Yes, for those smart people amongst you, it's playing the "flipping the sofa cushion to hide buried treasure" game!!!
Mummy and Daddy don't really enjoy this game. I wonder why? Maybe it's because they have to make an extra effort to find the following - every now and then
1) TV controller
2) SCV controller
3) Handphones
4) Every other thing that can possibly fit under the cushion!!!

Saturday Outing Part 2 @ Copthorne Kings Hotel

Today we celebrated Father's Day at Copthrone Kings Hotel.
So here we are at the Princess Terrace Cafe for Penang Buffet, with special thanks to Uncle Jonathan for the research done through the web in the afternoon. There was a lot of people at the cafe. Of course!! It the eve of Father's Day so naturally everybody will be celebrating this memorable event universally. :)

Grandma Wong and Mummy started scouting for food while Uncle Jonathan had to keep an eye on me. :p

The hotel is renowned in Singapore for serving the best authentic Penang cuisine. Starting with Princess Terrace's mouth-watering buffet spread - featuring classic favourites like Penang Laksa, Prawn Noodle, Popiah, Kuey Pie Ti, Satay, Penang Fried Kway Teow and delightful desserts like a selection of Nonya Kueh, and not forgetting the silky Soya Beancurd.
Ok enough of that, for more information please visit the link as attached below:

Mummy managed to get me a bowl of yummy Wok-Fried porridge. Its similar to duck porridge but with sotong and some other stuffs which I couldn't make out. hee hee, who cares! As long as I like the taste.
Soon, during the half way point during the dinner, I got really bored. I meant REALLY, REALLY bored. Sachets of sugar became my plaything. But it wasnt long that I got tired of playing with that and started to scream for "Freedom"!! Daddy, Mummy and Grandpa Wong have to take turns to babysit the mobile playful cheeky me. :p

Daddy noticed that there was this not so brightly lit room around the corner. It looked rather cozy and yes, I was allowed into the room after Mummy sought permission from the beautiful and polite Aunties at the counter. This was the hotel's business centre which was vacant at the point in time.
And yes, it was fully carpeted. There I was running around the room like nobody's business checking out every corner visible to me. As you can tell from the pictures shown above, I enjoyed myself in the room just as the adults enjoyed their delicious dinner at the cafe.

It was a hearty meal that the entire Wong family enjoyed throughout the evening. Apart from the nuisance part which was created by me, it was an almost perfect dinner!
Happy Father's Day to all the admirable fathers out there.. kekekekeke :)

An early saturday morning outing - Part 1

Today marks the earliest day that Daddy and Mummy took my out for Breakfast.
This was because Grandpa Wong's very good friend Lao Wu Jiu Gong came to Singapore with his wife and daughter for a short visit. Grandpa and Grandma Wong were busy making their way to Hotel Rendezvous to send them off.

After sending Lao Wu Jiu Gong and family off, Uncle Jonathan and Daddy decided to head to Plaza Singapura for breakfast. It was a rather long walk from Hotel Rendezvous to Plaza Singapura (well, it seemed a long walk to Mummy's pretext) After much disscussion, Daddy and Mummy decided to eat at "The Cafe Cartel"

We were directed to a table where the waiter left a few menus for us to browse through. It didn't take long for Uncle Jonathan and my parents to decide what to eat from the menu. But I took quite a fair bit of time going to and fro the menu (ha ha, as if I was allowed to order from the menu) kekeke :)
After placing their orders, I started to get a bit bored and of cos me, being very mobile, would love to be running around the restaurant rather than to be confined to a seat. Mummy had no choice but to try to put me to sleep using my all time favourite sling (aka sleeping pouch). Mummy tried to rock me to sleep for more than 1/2hr. Towards the end, she was hungry and tired and decided to give up. Uncle Jonathan would have to babysit me for the next 1/2hr.

I eventually fell asleep while Mummy and Daddy was walking around Daiso. After which we took cab home.
That ends my morning excursion! More updates another day, okay? :)

My favourite pose nowadays

The 1st two poses are more dangerous.
Did you notice the box underneath the table? I used that to climb up to the table and to reach for the phone. :p This is a very dangerous stunt that I always hear mummy call out to me... "Tian Lik!! come down now"!!! kekekeke
I guess the 3rd pose should be the most relaxing of all, be it for myself or mummy. Cause there isnt any danger involved. :)

OOPS I did it again!

It was a nice after dinner sunday evening.

I was as usual playing in the house. I started playing with my toys, then I moved on to play with all sorts of things that can be found around the house. It was then I decided to play with Daddy's mobile phone without him noticing it. :p

After Daddy and Mummy took their dinner, they decided to bring me over to Grandpa Wong while they do their weekly grocery shopping together. Yes, without me!! I think they would be able to complete the groceries list much faster without me, for those who have read my earlier blog, you'd realise that Mummy and/or Daddy will usually have to put back the stuff which I will remove from the supermarket shelves.

And this happens all the time!

Just when we were almost ready to set off, Daddy and Mummy wanted to double check the bag. Here is a list which they need to fulfil before leaving the house.

1. Water bottle (normally 3/4 full)
2. Little bites biscuits
3. Wet wipes
4. Diaper
5. House keys
6. Handphones(Daddy and Mummy's)

Yes, it was when they were checking through the bag, that they realised that Daddy's phone was missing. Yes!! It's me again, without fail. I have misplaced the phone. Oh gosh, they took a long time to hunt for the phone. Daddy and Mummy were asking me where I put the phone, and all I could say was.. "huh"?? "Ma Ma"? "AHhhhh"??...

With a strange look on their faces, they couldn't make out what I was trying to tell them.. Luckily after a search for about 20minutes, they managed to find it on the TV rack. WHEW!! It was a close shave this time. I think next time I would not be able to play with Daddy's phone again cos Daddy's face went all black when he couldnt find his phone. :(
