Isaiah Chapter 40: Verses 28 - 31
28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Me, myself and my Coffee Table (Leg)

Yo, check out my latest fav hobby. Rolling over 2-3 times and then reaching out for the coffee table...
Or, to be more specific, the coffee table leg..
I was caught in the act when Mummy saw me 'exploring' the varnish of the table leg with my hands. Not sure why she's making a fuss though...
Oh yah, now I remember. I was exploring with my mouth as well.
I take it from Mummy's reaction that coffee table legs aren't meant to be licked. :P
Hmmm, is it just me, or am I going to outgrow this fav hobby of mine when I grow taller in a few years' time?

Call me "Mr Over-Nighter" again. :P

Symptom: Jeremiah waking up every hour (trust me, it happens) throughout the night
Possible cause(s): teething or excessive playing
Treatment: 100% quarantine on playtime
Result: Happy boy; happier mother; happiest Daddy. :)
Conclusion: Too much of any'thing' (even playtime) isn't a good 'thing'

Hey everyone!

Guess what?

I slept through the night on Thursday AND Friday night!!! Mummy and Daddy are soooooooooooo pleased.

That's why I have such a contented look on my little face, cos my sleep was good, and quite un-interrupted. A long stretch of 6+ hours was quite excellent. Mummy laughs and says its good for my well-being (and I suspect my complexion too). Hehehehe.... :P

Backgroundwise, for those who did not happened to read Mummy's entry below, my Tuesday and Wednesday nights were quite a hellish scene - I woke up practically every hour.

Woah. The mere mention of it sounds bad.

Weekend, here I come!!! Hooray!

Out-Of-Sorts!

For the past 2 nights, Mummy, Daddy and myself had not been sleeping well. I woke up almost every hour since 2.30am all the way to 4.30am. Poor Mummy and Daddy got to wake up and try to put me back to sleep. Mummy told Daddy that that it could be due to the noise produced in the "Hungry Ghost" celebration downstairs, or I laughed and played too vigorously during the day.
P.S. I was under close surveillance of Mummy for the whole day so as not to play too much. Hopefully tonight everything will revert back to normal . Everyone of us will get to rest well.

Spot the difference.... "where's tummmmmy?"

Hello everyone, here we are in Tanglin Mall's "Nursing Room". Though not very grand, but at least I can have my milk.

Just look at me, don't I look like a very contented 5 month and 1 week old baby??

;p
Jeremiah

Yo peeps, did you spot anything different with me in the 2 pictures?

Yes?? No??

Well, please look at my tummy. When I was with Mummy in the nursing room, the picture does not show my big tummy. But the picture with Daddy - this is pre-feeding, you know - shows a huge tummy.

How can this be??? Not human-ly possible, I should get a bigger tummy after my milk, righhhhhhhht?

Hmmm.. I seriously think that there is a problem with my posture...
and the lighting...
and the company...
and the environment...
and Daddy's hands...
and the colour of his shirt!!!!

Yes, it's all their fault, not mine. :) blah blah..

;p

Sun-day Fun-day

Sunday!!!

Weekend!!!

Little ol' me woke up bright and early this morning. Daddy says I woke up him earlier than expected, cos I was making lots of "googly" noises as I lay beside him on the bed.

This sleepy picture was taken as I was preparing for my morning bath. I love bathing time - cos I smell nice and fresh afterwards.

Hmm... I wonder what I'll do today. Heh heh heh.

Sneak Peek-I can stand up by myself

Hello Everyone!! I am now standing on the platform, looking at the cars and people from here. Though all things look tiny, I am still enjoying the view up here.
Yes, I can stand up by myself. I am grabbing on tightly to the window grills.
**P.S a sneak peek into what I can do in a few months time.

The Amazing Cactus!-Part 1

Mummy told me that she has not been watering the cactus for a long long time.

In fact, Mummy recalled that the cactus hasn't been watered since I was born. Wow. You mean they survived without water for 5 months? Oh my! I cannot imagine myself going without food for 4 hours....

Poor cactus!! ;p

5 months old and proud of it!!!

Guess what! Today's my 5 month birthday!!!
Wow, Daddy and Mummy tells me I've come a long way since 12th March 2007 - I don't exactly know what that means, but methinks its a compliment.
Yeah.
* this picture was taken after my church service this morning. If you're wondering why I look a little dazed, I just woke up within the last 10 minutes. heh heh.

Yo! Yo! Yo! Check it out!!

Hello Everyone!

Check out my new look with my beanie! Yesterday was the first time Mummy and Daddy brought me out window shopping after 5 months. In addition to baby wipes and the other 'normal' baby stuff, they also bought me a set of "bath toys" from mothercare - now, I know the following animals:
Octopus; Duck; Frog; Dolphin; Whale
Near the end of our shopping, the crowd and the lack of ventilation really irritated me, thus Mummy and Daddy quickly took their lunch before heading home in a flash.
Typically excited little ol' me started using it this morning during bathtime, and I allowed Mummy to bathe me for a while longer. It's quite cool, y'know - I never got so many bathtime friends before... heh heh

Travel to the North - aborted again...

OH DEAR!
Mummy tells me we are supposed to visit my maternal Granny in the North of Singapore tomorrow. But just yesterday, Auntie Irene (mummy's younger sister) informed Mummy that she is down with chicken pox.
I may be only 5 months' old, but 'chicken pox' sounds bad... quite quite bad.
Apparently, Mummy thinks it sounds really bad too. Thus, I am 'informed' that we will not be allowed to visit them for at least 2 weeks.
Oh well, I guess I will only have my Disney Channels andd my Teether to pass time for now... and wait for a better time to visit them.

Auntie Irene, do get well soon! Remember not to scratch too much, or else you won't have a fair skin like me!!! hahaha.
GOD bless,

A page from Mummy's diary

Dear Jeremiah,

There is a saying that - no matter how old a child grows, he or she will always be a baby in the eyes of the parents. You know, I have never taken this saying seriously until I saw how you grew in the past few months. In fact, you are now growing bigger and stronger everyday. Nevertheless, my memory of you still remains as it was when you were a little 2 day old baby.(as per picture shown above)

Jeremiah, thank you for coming into Mummy's and Daddy's lives. We have all grown and learnt alot in the long process of parenting. From frantically changing your wet (and sometimes soiled) diapers; to waking up every 2 hours for your feeding; and last but not least - the highlight of every evening - your "driving us crazy" cries (more so cos we were not exactly sure whether you were colicky)

Now that was a little stressful ;p

Thanks to you, we are now officially excellent "Diaper Changers", among other things. Haha. Hopefully, thanks to us - you are now a "Well behaved" baby.

I hope. I so hope. :P

After a seemingly long 4 plus months, our lives have a sense of normalcy i.e. believe it or not, we actually get 8 hours of sleep througout the night.

*Clap Clap Clap*

Kudos to you of course. Daddy is laughing in the background, cos he suspects only young parents will understand what we meant by "normal" sleeping hours.

We can still recall when you first came back from the hospital on 18 March 2007.

Woah. That night was speeeeeeeeeeeeeeecial, alright.

It was a hellish night as we could never imagine how baby cries can be so disruptive. You simply didn't want to sleep in your own cot *which was actually pretty cool with lots of soft toys etc*

BO BIAN! Mummy and Daddy had to bunk in the hall together with you on our living room sofa (pictured above).

Then again, all these are fond memories of having you as a recent entrant into this family. We hope and pray that you will grow up healthily to be a good boy.

Always.

Lots of Love
GOD Bless,

Mummy n Daddy

Let's look back

Through the months.... Jeremiah has grown. Quite a fair bit. Haha.

TV Time

Hello there again!!!
This is me sitting comfortably in front of the TV watching my current favourite - "Disney Channel".
You know something? Mummy has recently subscribed to this "Disney Channel" with a condition attached. Apparently, I have to be occupied to free Mummy for at least 15 minutes, so that she can continue with her household chores.
Hmmm, this sounds like a good trade off!
(Little does Mummy know that I still plan to call her for my usual nappy changes, and when I am bored. Which happens VERY often. )
Haha.

Morning at the Clinic Part II

Yesterday Mummy and Daddy brought me to see Dr Ravin again...

yes. again....

This time round, I didn't have a sore throat... however, gullible little me didn't realise the 'agenda' for the visit until I felt the cooling alcohol swab on my thigh.

Oh dear, TOO LATE! It wasn't that bad, honestly. I cried for 'only' 5 minutes - which is quite an achievement.

However, I overheard Mummy telling Dr Ravin I am supposed to return for another jab in 1 months' time. ANOTHER JAB?

I must seriously think of a getaway plan... :)

Flipping Video!

Hello Everyone!

I'm back! With even more action! Mummy has done a short video clip on my "Flipping" stunts. The running time is approximately 24seconds. Yes, though it is abit short but trust me - i put in a lot of effort.

Mummy has been complaining to daddy that ever since I picked up "Flipping", I never seem to get tired of it. Mummy has been having a tough time changing my diapers now, as i can now flip using a shorter time of approximately 05 seconds.

*cheeky grin*

So, please sit back, relax and witness for yourself... my "Amazing moment"!

P.S - I recently got a new nickname for myself - given by mummy and daddy a.k.a "The Flipper"

My 1st Flip

Yippee!!!
Guess what? I have finally done my 1st flip last night on 31/07/07 @2000 hrs! My mummy couldn't believe her eyes and insisted that I do it again.
Did I? Of course!!! I did another 4 flips for her and she was so happy.

My mummy was a little worried as she has heard a lot of people commenting that a 4-month old baby should be able to flip by now.
P.S (I am 4 months 19 days old)

Thanks to the crash course given by mummy, yours truly had intensive training everyday for 15 mins.
All my hard work has not been wasted.
Please wait patiently for my next move...arrrghhhh...
