Dear Jeremiah,
There is a saying that - no matter how old a child grows, he or she will always be a baby in the eyes of the parents. You know, I have never taken this saying seriously until I saw how you grew in the past few months. In fact, you are now growing bigger and stronger everyday. Nevertheless, my memory of you still remains as it was when you were a little 2 day old baby.(as per picture shown above)
Jeremiah, thank you for coming into Mummy's and Daddy's lives. We have all grown and learnt alot in the long process of parenting. From frantically changing your wet (and sometimes soiled) diapers; to waking up every 2 hours for your feeding; and last but not least - the highlight of every evening - your "driving us crazy" cries (more so cos we were not exactly sure whether you were colicky)
Now that was a little stressful ;p
Thanks to you, we are now officially excellent "Diaper Changers", among other things. Haha. Hopefully, thanks to us - you are now a "Well behaved" baby.
I hope. I so hope. :P
After a seemingly long 4 plus months, our lives have a sense of normalcy i.e. believe it or not, we actually get 8 hours of sleep througout the night.
*Clap Clap Clap*
Kudos to you of course. Daddy is laughing in the background, cos he suspects only young parents will understand what we meant by "normal" sleeping hours.
We can still recall when you first came back from the hospital on 18 March 2007.
Woah. That night was speeeeeeeeeeeeeeecial, alright.
It was a hellish night as we could never imagine how baby cries can be so disruptive. You simply didn't want to sleep in your own cot *which was actually pretty cool with lots of soft toys etc*
BO BIAN! Mummy and Daddy had to bunk in the hall together with you on our living room sofa (pictured above).
Then again, all these are fond memories of having you as a recent entrant into this family. We hope and pray that you will grow up healthily to be a good boy.
Always.
Lots of Love
GOD Bless,
Mummy n Daddy
