One long night

For the longest time, Daddy and Mummy didn't have much trouble with my sleep time... I would usually knock off around 8-9pm and sleep till morning - occasionally I wake up for one short feed around 1130pm...

In fact, Daddy was just remarking to Grandpa Wong yesterday morning how good I was and how predictable my sleeptime was...

FAMOUS LAST WORDS!!!!!

Cos........ This morning was one of the most hellish mornings that Daddy and Mummy had for a long time.... yeah sure, I woke up at 1130pm... which was normal...

then I woke up again at the following times

1) 1am

2) 2am

3) 3am

4) 530am

Daddy woke up permanently at 530am cos Mummy desperately needed her sleep... its then that they realised

"Hey, my upper incisors have SPROUTED! Both of them!!! "

errrrrr, that's after they changed my diapers and measured my temperature... apparently there's this bad bug going around...

Good news at the end of the day! Now I have 8 teeth - 4 top and 4 bottom!!!

Daddy and me share something similar today, cos he was born on 11 November - his birthday is also 11 - 11 .... :P

Pseudo - "grown up"

Today, I wore this Baby Gap polo-"t shirt with jeans" combi - it's actually a polo t-shirt Onesie but the bottom's hidden by the jeans (from Baby Fox, I think).

Just before I went up around 1130am for my lunch and nap, I took a longer route around my void desk ... Daddy laughed as I walked circles around the concrete corridors.... around and around... until my excitement wore off and I was ready to go.... :)

Do I look like a pseudo-grown up to you? Daddy feels I don't look like a 13 month and 1 week old boy...

eerrrrr, I think that was a compliment... thanks Daddy!

Sunday funday #3 - Aspiring athelete?

Check out my new clothes - which Mummy bought today when we had lunch at United Sq together with Grandpa Wong, Grandma Wong + Uncle Jon...

Daddy laughed and called me the new "Raphael Nadal"... I don't follow TV sports... but it seems the Nadal dude has bulging biceps and is a giant in tennis these days.

Come to think of it, my biceps aren't small either... for a 13 month old, remember?

In 20 years time I will be someone important in sports... or an area of equivalent importance :P

Mummy laughs and says that in 20 years' time I will STILL be their loveable Jeremiah Wong Tian Lik. And that's important enough for her and Daddy. :)

Sunday funday #2 - matching Orange fellas

Hello everyone - check out my new clothes - courtesy of Daddy and Mummy...

but first, well, let me tell you a story...

Daddy and Mummy were feeding me lunch today (porridge) at United Sq when my stomach felt a little odd...

First the good news - the 'odd' feeling went away after a short while, and after... erm....

... that's the not so good news - I kind of threw up all the consumed porridge onto Daddy...

Thankfully Daddy had a singlet/tanktop under his shirt (which was obviously soiled)... so Mummy quickly went out to buy me some nice clothes while Daddy waited with me in the Baby Room...

Daddy then insisted that he wanted to match my colour combination when he saw the nice Orange Polo T shirt which Mummy bought for me.

Hence the below combination... Daddy is quite strange today, isn't he? :P

Sunday funday #1 - toddler "Model" sideline

Hello young friends, I think I have found my calling - in advertising... Imagine, what would you prefer? An old man / woman posing around with a phone in uncomfortable looking suits and facial hair (for men) and thin translucent (read: barely there) blouses (for women)...

..... if you're between the age of 1 and 10, I'm sure I can appeal to you more!

2nd reason why I should be chosen:

I am more affordable, cos I only request for a comfortable bed and pillow during sleeptime and 1 year's worth of baby biscuits...

A day at the yacht club :)

Here we are at Republic of Singapore Yacht Club @ West Coast Ferry Road - where Daddy's friend Augustine/Sze Chen's eldest daughter Elizabeth is celebrating her 6th birthday!

Above is an inflatable castle that all the children loved playing with... they were rushing in and rushing out... for a boy of my size - that's a little too much activity for me to absorb... I was more content observing them from my seat... :)

Here am I walking around and exploring the premises... in fact, I think I was more fascinated by the interesting tiles that formed the floor... :)

All that activity made me quite tired.... in fact, close to 345pm - I was very tired... yawn... yawn... yawn... thankfully, Daddy took a hint... and said a quick goodbye to his friend Augustine...

Dreamland here I come!

My 1st Haircut!

Mark it down in your calendar - Monday 7th April 2008 - is a very important date!

Why? Cos today I had my 1st haircut, that's why!!! Courtesy of Mummy (my personal - and ONLY - hairstylist) of course - who even went to buy my very own hairdressing set 6 months ago... of course, for those with excellent memory (and browse my blog often) you'd know that I didn't have much hair to cut then. :)

In fact, my haircut was delayed since I was about 11 months old... and recently the hot weather caused little ol' me to perspire at the slightest movement - even when I was walking around at home....

Well, I won't spoil the moment - please refer to above pictures for an colourful pictoral show of my haircut... of course Mummy kept most of my 1st locks in a nice metal case...

I think I look more handsome now, wouldn't you agree?

... even Daddy think so too. :) less Reggae, but more handsome :P

Car rides!!!

Nowadays, when we visit any shopping centres, I will definitely be given a chance to ride on these cars.....

Standing tall!

Today we went to Woodlands to visit my maternal grandparents... this shot was taken as I was wandering near the back of the life landing - to see the view of neighbouring Holland Road... Mummy took this shot as it showed me proudly standing - totally unaided... Yeah!

I have been walking up and down the living room before Mummy stopped me to pose for this picture. I have enjoyed myself totally yesterday as it the 1st time that I am walking up and down independently in the house.

As "Grandma Lim " and "Ah yi" have doubts on my stability in walking, they were supporting me from behind.

Grandpa Lim was shocked and amazed to find me walking all over the place as he has not seen me for almost 3 weeks.

I was extremely fascinated with the correction tape aka liquid paper. It has the sound of ball bearing rattling up and down and that amazed me the most!!
