Push Cart Boy

Here's me beeming widely behind my push cart... this has been my favourite past time of the recent 2 weeks - pushing the cart up and down my living room.

Of course I don't just push blindly... I also take this as a opportunity to watch some TV, checking out the latest MTVs etc... sometimes Mummy would find me distracted by the MTVs while half in the motion of pushing my cart... Mummy likes to laugh at me. Is it that funny? :)

Red Racing Machine

Let me tell you about my fun Sunday!

Hint hint, check out my Red Roaring Rrrrrrrrrrhhhhhhhhhrrrrrmmmmmmm machine... Grandpa and Grandma brought us to Vivocity today, and bought this for me at Toys R Us... I was very excited to see all those toys. Its a good thing I haven't learnt to say anything much at the moment thus I could only point and let loose the occasional excited cheer - a sign of the things to come, eh, Daddy and Mummy?

I especially like the sounds for my new toy - it mimics the starting up of the engine, the acceleration of the car, and even has a slot for the handphone (when pressed down, it hits a button which mimics the handphone sound)... okay, not a very good example for a young driver... but in a world of make believe, I believe I deserve some leeway, right? :)

I know adults gauge their cars in horsepower... well, mine's officially 2 BabyPowered... powered by 2 strong (and slightly meaty) legs. Yeah.

Happy Valentine's Day 2008

Daddy surprised Mummy today when he bought her a nice bouquet of roses on his way back from office!

Mummy was so pleased, you can see her smiling widely above :P

It's also my 1st Valentine's Day with Mummy and Daddy.

New skill learnt

Hi everyone, I have recently learnt a new skill. I am going to demonstrate it to everyone out there. Babies especially please pay close attention.

Jere's CNY - Day 2

Here am I in my Day 2 costume... yes, for those with observant eyes it's a variation on yesterday's theme!

In fact, Daddy bought this before my spiffy gold costume, but Mummy felt the gold one was nicer... besides, the red one was a little TOO "chee-nah" for Day 1 lah...

Of course, notwithstanding the very chinese red colour - not to wear the costume at all this year would be to waste Daddy's efforts in walking all the way to Chinatown. Thanks Daddy!

Oh yeah, before I get further engrossed on my vain appearances - let me tell you what I did today.

I went to visit Mummy's maternal grandmother i.e. my great-grandmother @ Jalan Bukit Merah. The aunties there were thrilled to see how "red" I was... good thing that I was only 11 months old... the red colour would be a little odd if I was, like, 11 years old or something...

Thereafter we travelled all the way to Woodlands to visit my maternal grandmother, and uncle Ronny and aunty Irene... that's where I took the above pic with Mummy.

Left Woodlands around 5pm, cos it was time to go home... I was getting cranky. Trust me, when I want to go home, I want to go home quickly........ :)

Jere's CNY - Day 1

Hello everyone, this is my 1st CNY with Daddy and Mummy....

Last year at this time, I was still comfortably sitting in Mummy's womb so that doesn't really count.

Here's a picture taken with Aunty Ruth and cousin Shanae - at my great grandmother's (well, my grandmother's mother) house... I hear that quite a few people were waiting for me, cos I needed my morning nap around 930am, just when Daddy was preparing me to go out.

Like Daddy says, its not meaningful to carry a 'loud-hailer' to people's houses, especially if the loud-hailer's me, and especially since its the Chinese New Year.

Here am I playing with my cousins. The funny thing is that her expression is quite contrasted with Mummy's and Aunty Ruth's smiles.

Oh yeah, thereafter we went to my Granduncle's (Grandpa's eldest brother) place which was just down the road near Holland Village...

Daddy would agree that it's just within walking distance, right Daddy?

Daddy won't reply me, cos he was breathing a little heavier after we got there... can't be my fault, must be the CNY goodies that he's been eating

The day ended around 3plus cos I needed my afternoon nap...

Okay, thats all for now... will write more after we finish our Day 2 today !!!

Daddy insisted that these pictures be put on my blog... as he walked all the way from his office to somewhere near Chinatown to buy this golden chinese costume for little ol' me.

It sounds like a long walk. But methinks it's worth the effort. Don't I look dashing?

(Mummy was a little hesistant at first, cos the colours look a little odd, but the outcome looks rather alright.....)

Btw, Daddy says that he bought his costume for his company event at the same Chinatown stall, and that - for the cloth used - mine's definitely more expensive.

"It worth every penny!!!" - words from me :P
